Join us on September 22nd from 6p-9p for Shuckin’ Shack’s Fresh & Raw Tour Together with Truist at Shuckin’ Shack – Rocky Mount, NC. Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar and Truist are cutting the trip to Nashville and bringing the party to your neighborhood Shack. We are proud to announce year 2 of our Fresh & Raw Tour Together with Truist featuring Nashville hit singer/songwriter and NBC’s The Voice season 9 finalist, Barrett Baber! Babers talents landed him “A Gig of a Lifetime” for the 2014 Grammy Awards where he was catapulted into the national limelight. Armed with a knack for connecting with audiences and high energy performances, Barrett’s national spotlight grew as a top finalist on NBC’s The Voice for Team Blake in 2016. He quickly became a rising star in the Nashville singer/songwriter community by scoring multiple songwriting credits including the hit Certified Platinum song, “Nothing On You” recorded by Cody Johnson.
Supporting Barrett on Shack’s Fresh & Raw Tour 2023 is a current rising star in the Nashville singer/songwriter scene, Taylor Goyette. Goyette is a singer-songwriter known for his heartfelt lyrics, soulful melodies, and captivating stage presence. Recently, Taylor had the privilege of sharing the stage with two country music powerhouses, Jason Aldean, and Carly Pearce. Taylor’s newest song, “Show Goes On”, currently is going viral with over 20 million views across streaming and social platforms. Also, we will have a local musician, Meredith Johnson, who will open up the show and compete in the “Battle of The Openers” contest against all local openers from each Shuckin’ Shack location. The winner will win a trip to Nashville to play on a singer/songwriter show in front of Nashville music seasoned vets of the industry in the middle of Music Row.
We are excited to bring this show for the second year in a row to your town with absolutely no admission fees. Yeah, you heard us right! Come to Shuckin’ Shack, eat fresh seafood, drink cold beers, have fun, and enjoy the show with certified Nashville hit makers.
As an added bonus for the Fresh and Raw Tour, each Shuckin’ Shack location will be giving away FREE seafood for a year! The Fresh and Raw Tour Giveaway will be announced on each Shuckin’ Shack location specific Facebook and Instagram page 2 weeks prior to the locations tour date. Though each show is free to attend, we ask that you “pay what you can” during your local performance. LLS volunteers will be taking cash donations during your local show to “Fill the Bucket.” All donations will go directly to LLS.
